Ghostlight Coffee

Stop by for a taste of Dayton's local coffee scene at this beloved neighborhood coffeehouse. Known as "Dayton's Living Room," Ghostlight is famous for its thoughtfully sourced, craft coffee, espresso, and delicious baked goods made from scratch. Their original location is in the Historic South Park Neighborhood.

Explore the Oregon District

Stroll the brick-lined streets of this historic district, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's the perfect spot for dining, unique shops, and enjoying the city's nightlife, including local pubs and bars. It's the dldest neighborhood. The area was laid out as early as 1815, and the first plat was recorded in 1829. It is one of the earliest surviving combinations of commercial and residential architecture in Dayton. The district has a rich architectural heritage: The 12-square-block district is a showcase of Dayton's architectural history, with homes and buildings dating from 1820 to 1915.

National Museum of the U.S. Air Force

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. It features a massive collection of over 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles, spanning 19 acres of indoor exhibit space and chronicling the history of military flight from the Wright brothers to the Space Force. Among its most historically significant aircraft are the Memphis Belle B-17 Flying Fortress, the B-29 Bockscar that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki, and the Boeing VC-137C known as SAM 26000, which served as Air Force One for several presidents. The museum's extensive collection is organized into various galleries dedicated to different eras, including World War II, the Cold War, and space exploration. The admission is free! 

Yellow Springs Ohio
